چکیده

ABSTRACT We model Pop III star formation in different FUV and X-ray backgrounds, including radiation feedback from protostars. confirm previous results that a moderate background increases the number of systems per unit cosmological volume, but masses multiplicities system are reduced. The stellar mass function also agrees with results, we outward migration stars within protostellar discs. find nearly all hierarchical, i.e. binaries binaries. Typically, two equal-mass form near centre disc migrate outwards. Around these stars, mini-discs fragment forming Stars may at Lagrange points L4/L5 system. Afterwards, becomes more stochastic due to large multiplicity, zero-metallicity low-mass can when rapidly ejected disc. often have eccentric orbits, leading periodic modulation their accretion rates luminosities. At pericentre, strong accretion, enter red-supergiant phase reaching Eddington luminosity optical bands (mAB ∼ 34 for 100 M⊙ z = 6). During this phase, star, rather than its nebular lines, be observed directly by JWST, if sufficiently magnified gravitational lens. ∼10 000 AU separations high eccentricities many our simulations favourable parameters IMBH mergers – waves emission through orbital excitation field stars.

Radiative Regulation of Population III Star Formation

We explore the impact of ultraviolet (UV) radiation from massive Population III (Pop III) stars of 25, 40, 80, and 120 M⊙ on the subsequent Pop III star formation. In this paper, particular attention is paid to the dependence of radiative feedback on the mass of source Pop III star. UV radiation from the source star can work to impede the secondary star formation through the photoheating and ph...

Radiative feedback from an early X - ray background

The first generation of stars (commonly known as population III) are expected to form in low-mass protogalaxies in which molecular hydrogen is the dominant coolant. Radiation from these stars will rapidly build up an extragalactic ultraviolet background capable of photodissociating H 2 , and it is widely believed that this background will suppress further star formation in low-mass systems. How...

Population III Star Formation and IMF

We review recent 3D cosmological hydrodynamic simulations of primordial star formation from cosmological initial conditions (Pop III.1) and from initial conditions that have been altered by radiative feedback from stellar sources (Pop III.2). We concentrate on simulations that resolve the formation of the gravitationally unstable cloud cores in mini-halos over the mass range 105 < M/M⊙ < 107 an...

Magneto-Hydrodynamics of Population III Star Formation

Jet driving and fragmentation process in collapsing primordial cloud are studied using three-dimensional MHD nested grid simulations. Starting from a rotating magnetized spherical cloud with the number density of nc ≃ 10 cm, we follow the evolution of the cloud up to the stellar density nc ≃ 10 cm. We calculate 36 models parameterizing the initial magnetic and rotational energies (γ0, β0). In t...

1 The Sun as an X - ray Star : III . Flares

In previous works we have developed a method to convert solar X-ray data, collected with the Yohkoh/SXT, into templates of stellar coronal observations. Here we apply the method to several solar flares, for comparison with stellar X-ray flares. Eight flares, from weak (GOES class C5.8) to very intense ones (X9) are selected as representative of the flaring Sun. The emission measure distribution...
